Extrusion Helper
Impact Plastics is seeking Extrusion Helpers to join our manufacturing team at our Hamlet, NC facility.
Extrusion Helpers assist Extrusion Operators in all aspects of running the extrusion line. Responsibilities include monitoring and restocking raw materials and handling finished roll stock, including removing material from the machine and preparing it for final packaging. Strong reading and math skills and mechanical aptitude are important for success in this position. Extrusion Helpers report directly to the Supervisor.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts as required.
- Use hand trucks and cart pullers to move materials.
- Monitor and restock raw materials.
- Handle finished goods and wrap products for shipment.
- Follow direction from Extrusion Operators and Supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow established safety practices during all aspects of the job.
Requirements
- Excellent work history.

- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
- Ability to work 12-hour day or night shifts.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to safely use a utility knife.
