Extrusion Helper
Impact Plastics is searching for qualified individuals to fill openings for several Extrusion Helper positions at our Hamlet, NC facility. Extrusion Helpers are responsible for assisting their Extrusion Operator team member in all aspects of the operation of the extrusion line. Responsibilities include raw material monitoring and restocking and handling of rollstock including removal from the machine and final packaging. Reading and math skills as well as a strong mechanical aptitude are a must. Helpers will report to the Shift Supervisor.

Responsibilities
- Forktruck use
- Hand trucks/cart puller use
- Raw material monitoring
- Finished goods handling and wrapping for shipment
- Taking direction from Extrusion Operator and Shift Supervisors
- Housekeeping
- Safety during all aspects of the job
Requirements
- Excellent work history
- Punctuality
- Math and reading skills
- Ability to use and read a tape measure
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, day or nights
- Works well with others
- Utility knife safety
