Meet Jimmy Shah

Jimmy started his career as an Extrusion Process Engineer at Impact Plastics and has become a pivotal part of the R&D Engineering team. His expertise lies in sheet extrusion and thermal lamination for medical and food packaging applications, with a focus on product and process optimization, product development and R&D. Jimmy brings along a first-rate collection of technical innovation skills and delivers them to Impact Plastics clients throughout the development process. He received his masters of science in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, along with certifications in Plastics Design and Plastics Materials and the Graduate Student of the Year award. Jimmy also holds a bachelor’s degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering, with distinction, from Edinburgh Napier University with a focus on plastics recycling for sustainability. He is a licensed ISO 9001:2015 internal auditor with Lean Six Sigma White Belt designation and is certified in HACCP for Processors and Implementing SQF level 8.0.
